Academic translation serves two distinct needs in Alberta: incoming students and researchers who need their credentials and research translated into English for Canadian institutions, and Canadian researchers who need their work translated for international publication or collaboration.
For incoming credentials, our certified academic translations are accepted by the University of Alberta, MacEwan University, NAIT, Grant MacEwan, and other Alberta institutions. We translate university transcripts, diplomas, course descriptions, academic letters, and research summaries.
For research translation, we work with faculty and graduate students on journal articles, conference papers, research proposals, and collaborative project documentation. We match translators to research fields: a linguist with a science background translates science papers, not general-purpose translators.
Alberta also attracts researchers and professionals through its immigration programs, and we regularly handle the academic credential documentation required for Alberta Immigration Nominee Program (AINP) applications. These translations meet the certification requirements for provincial immigration programs.
